StarCraft Gets The Spore Treatment

Spore.com - June 15, 2008

With Spore soon to be released in September, Maxis will be releasing their Creature Creator toolset the 17th of this month to give us an early start on coming up with our own creatures we'll be able to import once the game hits store shelves. Though not available to the public just yet, maxis developers and other press have had the chance to create some creatures that have begun appearing on the official Spore community site. To my surprise, creatures closely resembling those from the StarCraft series are beginning to pop up!

Our friends over at sclegacy have written an interesting editorial on what could have happened during the ten years after the Brood War. A very interesting analysis crumpling up all the information we have had so far and theorizing the events that begin where Brood War took off. Definitely worth a read.
